અહં તારૂપી લોહ છે સદા
ઘાટ થયા વિના ન રહે કદા;
My ego is ever like iron in Your form; It can never remain without being shaped.

જ્યારે આપોપાનો ભારજ ગયો;
Then the ocean of life transformed to God's vast sea,When the burden of one's own self was set free.
When the burden of one's own self was shed, the ocean of worldly existence transformed into God's ocean.

અખા મધ્યથો જા તું ટળી
બંધ ને મોક્ષ થકી ક્ષમા મળી.
O Akha, when from the middle you move away, From bondage and freedom, absolution holds sway.
O Akha, when you move away from the middle (duality), you find absolution from both bondage and freedom.

અખા બ્રહ્મ છે બાધું નામ
તે મધ્યે અળગાં અળગાં ગામ;
O Akha, Brahman is all names,
Within it, villages are distinct and apart;
O Akha, Brahman encompasses all names. Within this Brahman, villages (individual entities) are distinct and separate.
