Even Hali is inviting them as guests to his house; just look at yourself and the state of your house first!

In this delightful couplet, Hali pokes gentle fun at his own audacious heart. He chuckles at the sheer irony of inviting an elegant, high-status beloved over as a guest, when neither his own disheveled state nor the humble condition of his house is fit for such royalty. It is a warm, self-deprecating moment of love that shows how passion can make us completely forget our modest reality.
