Ghazal
ग़म खाने में बूदा दिल-ए-नाकाम बहुत है
This ghazal speaks of a heart weary from bearing endless sorrow, lamenting the scarcity of joy. It finds an ironic comfort in the confines of a cage, free from the external threats of the world. The poet also critiques superficial piety, questioning the value of asceticism driven by the desire for reward.
