The heart of the dead man is not alive, so let me revive it again,
For this is the cure for the ancient ailment of the Ummat (community).
The heart of the dead man is not alive, so let me revive it again, for this is the cure for the ancient ailment of the Ummat (community).

Is this peace a tranquil rest, or an illusion's grace?
It is neither a lion nor a storm's harsh embrace.
Tu's shore is like a calm sea; is this peace, or is it an illusion? It is neither a lion nor the destruction of a storm.

You are not yet familiar with the conscience of the sky; / Do not make you restless with the sorrow of a star.
You are not yet familiar with the conscience of the sky; do not make you restless with the sorrow of a star.

In the darkness of the night, my song of dawn cast its spell,
And from the secret hidden beneath my ashes, a flash of brilliance fell.
My song of dawn fell into your darkness, and a flash of brilliance/spark that was hidden beneath my ashes emerged.

Only he will see this world of fault and tomorrow,
Whose heart has become enchanted by my charming sight.
Only the one whose heart is enchanted by my charming presence will be able to perceive this world of faults and tomorrow.
