Ghazal
This ghazal suggests that the poet's natural disposition has not granted him the suspicion of cleverness. He asserts that his power lies in a kind of 'dust' (khak) that is not merely of realization or emotion, but of Gabriel's essence. This dust neither belongs to the adornment of gatherings nor is it chosen from the garden's delicacy; rather, it is the tear granted by God, which gives shine even to the stars.

Nature has not granted me the foresight of cunning,
But it holds my strength of flight within its dust.
Nature has not granted me the foresight of cunning, but it holds my strength of flight within its dust.

That dust which holds the passion of realization,
That dust which is from which Gabriel's garment was woven.
The dust which holds the passion of realization, and the dust from which Gabriel's garment was woven.

She does not care for the dust of the sitting mat,
Nor does she choose the fragrant grass from the garden's spread.
She does not care about the dust of the sitting mat, nor does she choose the fragrant grass from the garden's spread.

These tears, given by Allah, are the dust; they make the stars shine with their nectar.
These tears, given by Allah, are like dust; they make the stars shine with their nectar.
