આજ મારો દીવડો તરતો જાય.

બહુરંગી બત્તી પેટાય;
હું રે ગરીબ : મારું માટીનું કોડિયું

કેમ કરીને ઓળખાય રે-

જોઈ રહે થર થર જ્યોત;

ઘૂઘવતા પૂરમાં પંડ ઝંપલાવે
મીઠું કરીને મૉત રે-
