When the mind craves enjoyment, and the taste is desired, if the nose is filled to the brim, what can be offered as grace?

Kabir, the Shayar, uses a vivid metaphor to critique our excessive attachment to the material world. He suggests that if our senses are constantly filled with worldly cravings and pleasures, there is no space left for the divine. This couplet is a gentle admonition that spiritual realization requires an emptying out of the ego and worldly desires. True grace can only enter a heart that is spacious and unburdened.
