He saved the sinking king elephant and brought him out of the water.
This couplet beautifully describes an act of divine rescue. "Boodte Gajraj Rakhe, Kiyo Bahar Neer" means 'The drowning elephant king was saved, and the water was made external'. It refers to the famous legend of Gajendra Moksha, where a mighty elephant, caught by a crocodile in a lake, was slowly drowning. Despite its strength, it couldn't free itself. At that critical moment, the divine intervened. Lord Vishnu appeared and rescued Gajendra from the clutches of the crocodile, pulling him out of the treacherous water. This verse symbolizes how even the most powerful beings can face helplessness, and how God comes to the aid of devotees in their gravest hour of need, saving them from seemingly impossible situations.
