তোমার হাতে কঙ্কণ বাজে, তোমায় দেখি কাজে কাজে,
তুমি ওঠো মনে মনে, সকল কাজের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে॥
As bangles jingle on your hands, I see you engaged in tasks. You arise in my mind in the pauses between all your work.

তোমার চরণের আওয়াজ পাই যখন নিশীথে একা,
ঘুমের মাঝে স্বপনে তোমার পাই আমি দেখা॥
When I am alone in the night, I hear the sound of your footsteps. In my sleep, I see you in my dreams.
