Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This frail vessel thou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with fresh life.
God has made me eternal, such is His will. He repeatedly empties this frail body and fills it with fresh life anew.

This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new.
You have carried this little reed flute (representing the self) over various terrains and experiences, and through it, you have breathed ever-new and timeless melodies.

At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable.
Upon the eternal touch of your hands, my small heart overflows with boundless joy and expresses feelings that cannot be put into words.

Thy infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still thou pourest, and still there is room to fill.
The speaker's small hands can only hold a fraction of the infinite divine gifts. Even as ages pass and gifts continue to pour, there is always room in the speaker's heart to receive more.
