હવે નવા નવા સંબંધો બાંધવા નથી,
મારે તૂટેલા ધાગાઓ સાંધવા નથી.
Now, new relationships I wish not to weave,Broken threads, I wish not to retrieve.
I do not wish to form new relationships now, nor do I want to mend broken threads.

ખુલ્લું આકાશ; હવે ક્યાંયે દીવાલ નહીં,
હૈયું વિવશ કરે એવું કોઈ વ્હાલ નહીં,
Open sky; no wall anywhere now,No love to make the heart helplessly bow.

ભલૈ હૈયું આ રણ; પણ ઝાંઝવાં નથી,
હવે નવા નવા સંબંધો બાંધવા નથી.

નહીં કોઈ એક બાગ કે કોઈ એક ડાળ કે કોઈ એક ફૂલ,
માનવનો મુઠ્ઠીભર પ્રેમ એ તો વચકીને કોઈ દિવસ ભાંગે એ ભૂલ.
It is not one garden, one branch, nor a single flower defined,
To think a human's handful of love might suddenly break one day, that is the error of mankind.

મારે મૃગજળથી લોચનને માંજવાં નથી,
હવે નવા નવા સંબંધો બાંધવા નથી.
