Akha Bhagat 13

Akha Bhagat· Ghazal· 6 shers

This ghazal, attributed to Akha Bhagat, criticizes the hypocrisy of gurus who outwardly act as teachers but lack true spiritual humility. It contrasts genuine wisdom with those who wander as fools, slandering true knowers of Brahman. Akha suggests that those who constantly dwell on the past or engage in superficial practices fail to alleviate suffering.
