ઇશારોય કેવો મભમ થઈ ગયો છે!
અગમ થઈ ગયો છે, નિગમ થઈ ગયો છે.
How vague the very hint has grown! It's become beyond grasp, it's become the known.

દૂભવવું એ દુનિયાનો ક્રમ થઈ ગયો છે;
તડપવું એ દિલનો નિયમ થઈ ગયો છે.

ફરી દિલનો ઘેરો જખમ થઈ ગયો છે;

ઘણી વાર વેરણ દયા થઈ ગઈ છે,
ઘણી વાર વેરી ધરમ થઈ ગયો છે.

નથી આંખમાં છાંટ સુધ્ધાં શરમની,
જમાનોય બહુ બેશરમ થઈ ગયો છે!
Not even a speck of shame in the eyes,The age itself has become very shameless!

નહીં ચાલવા દે એ અંધેર આવું,
નવાં માનવીનો જનમ થઈ ગયો છે.
