If you hide wealth (or value) in the greenery, it becomes a peacock, the fervor of spring's wonder comes from the expanse granted by the desert.
My dear friend, Ghalib, with his characteristic grace, paints such a vivid picture here. He asks us to imagine the sheer, transformative magic of spring. If you were to hide a 'Daam' – a simple trap – amidst the vibrant 'Sabze' – the lush greenery... ...that trap, 'PinhaaN' or concealed, would be so utterly absorbed by the season's splendor... ...it would appear not as a snare, but as a magnificent 'Tāoos' – a peacock! This is the 'Nairang-e-bahār' – the enchanting power of spring – so potent, that even the desert itself contributes to this grand illusion. It's a beautiful reflection on how overwhelming beauty can utterly shift our perception. A mundane object, even one meant to capture, becomes a thing of grace, simply by being embraced by nature's artistry. Indeed, such is the enchanting power of existence: even what aims to bind can be transformed into a symbol of pure wonder.
