Ghazal
ला फिर इक बार वही बादा ओ जाम ऐ साक़ी
This ghazal expresses the poet's yearning for the continuous revelry and intoxication of the tavern (maykhana). The poet repeatedly asks the 'Saqi' (cupbearer) for wine and a glass, questioning his own state and the validity of this joyous atmosphere. It concludes by questioning the spiritual and worldly significance of this intoxication.
