Kabir 251-260

लंबा मारग , दूरिधर , विकट पंथ , बहुमार। कहौ संतो , क्यूं पाइये , दुर्लभ हरि-दीदार॥ 252॥
Oh path long, far, and fraught with peril, how shall we know, O sages, why attaining the sight of Hari is so rare?
O sages, this path is long, distant, and fraught with perils, and there are many obstacles; please tell us how we can ever attain the rare sight of Hari (God).

बिरह-भुवगम तन बसै मंत्र न लागै कोइ। राम-बियोगी ना जिवै जिवै तो बौरा होइ॥ 253॥ यह तन जालों मसि करों , लिखों राम का नाउं। लेखणि करूं करंक की , लिखी-लिखी राम पठाउं॥ 254॥
In this body, the memory of separation resides; no spell can take hold.

अंदेसड़ा न भाजिसी , सदैसो कहियां। के हरि आयां भाजिसी , कैहरि ही पास गयां॥ 255॥
