Ghazal
क्या मैं भी परेशानी-ए-ख़ातिर से क़रीं था
This ghazal expresses the deep pain of separation and longing, questioning if the poet was also a witness to the suffering caused by love. He recalls how even in the presence of the beloved, he felt the pain of separation, describing a persistent ache and the lingering memory of the beloved's touch.

क्या मैं भी परेशानी-ए-ख़ातिर से क़रीं था
आँखें तो कहीं थीं दिल-ए-ग़म-दीदा कहीं था
Was I also accompanied by the distress of concern,
