વડી પાપડ કરતાં ગાવાનું

કનકાવતી કહે સાંભળો સ્વામી, નણદી વિના નહિ શોભશે રે;
નગરીના જન પણ અવળું વિચારે, ક્યમ ન તેમાં નણદી શું હશે રે.

વાત કરે એમ ભાઈ ભોજાઈ, ત્યાં તો સમાચાર આવિયારે
ભાણેજાં સાથે બેની પધાર્યાં, બનેવી સહુને તેડી લાવિયા રે.

હળી મળી હરખ્યાં અન્યોઅન્ય અતિશે, મામીએ લીધાં ભાણેજ મીઠડાં રે;
ઉમંગે મળવાને પાડોશી આવ્યાં, બેનીને બહુ દહાડે દીઠડાં રે.

ભાવથી સાળો બનેવીને ભેટ્યા, સુખના સમાચાર પૂછિયા રે;
