Ghazal
न दो दुश्नाम हम को इतनी बद-ख़़ूई से क्या हासिल
In this ghazal, the poet gently remonstrates with the beloved over their harsh words, frowning demeanor, and habitual cruelty. Expressing a sense of wounded pride and heartbreak, the lover remarks that belated attempts at consolation are utterly meaningless once the heart has already been broken.
